Hello HouseGuests,
It has come to my attention that the new starting date of May 9th is not good for some of you. Therefore, I think the most fair thing to do is to give you, the HouseGuests playing the game, the choice. So here's how it's going to work: vote in the poll on this thread whether you would like the game to start on Monday, May 9 or Friday, May 13. At 9:00 PM Eastern on this Friday night, whichever choice has more votes will be when we start the game. If there is a tie vote, the starting date will remain May 9th.

Isaac, if we started on the 13th, the HOH competition would be adjusted to be a 48 hour competition, so the payers would have the whole weekend. For the most part in this game we try to not have too many important things happen on Saturdays.

The poll will close in about 5 hours. So far, it's a 4-3 majority that would want the game to begin on Monday night.

In the Big Brother game, if the two nominees were Joe and Derek, the vote was tied 3-3, and you wanted to vote for Joe but you accidentally voted for Derek, Derek would be evicted. That's how the game works. However, due to the very odd nature of this situation, I'm willing to offer a compromise: If the vote ends up tied, I will push the start date back to May 13th. Regardless, as soon as the clock hits 9PM Eastern tonight, we will know when the game begins. This is just a game. And Derek, Joe, and I are just volunteers. We do the best we can to make good decisions, and whether or not you agree with them, they are the final and official rulings. This summer, I can all but guarantee that there will be close calls, narrow victories, and grey areas. All we ask is that you bear with us and accept our decisions as impartial and part of the game. Hey I am so confused has the game started?? I can't find the HoH posted anywhere?? I just randomly thought of the game today and I am so glad I did. Sorry I have been MIA! I will be paying attention daily now. BTW i can't get this site to work on my iphone. Anyone have any tips for me??

I will be paying attention daily now. BTW i can't get this site to work on my iphone. Anyone have any tips for me?? The game started on Monday, the HOH was posted in the Backyard Proboards doesnt work right on iPhone unless you disable cookies on ALL sites, not just the ones you visit. Hope this helps, Amanda. |
