unfortunately due to how crazy my life has been recently I'm going to go ahead and drop out. I can't put as much effort as I would like to. Out of respect to the hosts, I will leave before they have to kick me out. Everyone have fun, have fights, and play hard. Thanks for having me.

Just a heads up: the eviction competition will be a speed competition, but it is not "live" in the sense that I have not set a time for it. The two nominees will each have to set up a time to do the competition privately with me either tonight or tomorrow. Each nominee will be timed and the nominee who finishes slower will be evicted. So be prepared to set up a time with me if you are the replacement nominee.

Now I have the choice to use this well earned Power of Veto on myself or on Jacob. While Jacob has made some convincing non-arguments, I have decided....

As the Head of Household, I must name a replacement nominee to do battle against Jacob. More than likely, you may have an easy time defeating him, as it sounds like he is having a busy weekend. Regardless, please take the empty seat next to Jacob...Liam.

I had a few names swirling through my mind since last night, but I decided to ultimately go with you. I know you were one of the people who voted nominate Brad and Adam...and an enemy of my ally is my enemy as well.

Good luck to you both. At least you wont need to have the title of first person to leave the game, thanks to Willy.

Jacob and Liam, you are the two nominees for this week.

So here's how the eviction competition works this week: individually, I will be sending each nominee a challenge that they must complete as quickly and as correctly as possible. Jacob has already completed this challenge. Liam, please let me know when you are online and ready for the challenge. As soon as you and I are both online, we can get it underway and completed.

Also, here is the schedule for next week:

Sunday, May 15 at 7PM Eastern: LIVE HOH Competition. It will be an endurance competition and if you want to win HOH this week, it will take you at least 2 hours.
However, there will also be some other things that you could win, if you so choose.
In seasons past, we have posted a bunch of pictures of the same thing (such as balloons, bears, or eyes), and HouseGuests took turns making lucky guesses to try and guess which balloon, bear, or eye held the secret power. But this season, we will not be doing that. There will still be a secret power that you can win, but if you want to win it, you will have to win it as part of the HOH competition.
And finally, there will be the opportunity to take part in a game-changing twist as a result of the competition. So, this is not just an HOH competition, it is also a competition in which you could win a secret power or be part of a game-changing twist.

Also, in order to keep the game moving, Liam, you have until Sunday at 6:30PM Eastern to complete the eviction competition. By that point you will have had 2 whole days to set up a time with me.

Monday, May 16: Nomination votes are due (I will make a set time following the HOH competition)

Tuesday, May 17 at 7PM Eastern: LIVE POV Competition

Wednesday, May 18: POV must be used by 4PM Eastern, HOH has until 7PM Eastern to name a replacement nominee

Thursday, May 19 at 7PM Eastern: LIVE Eviction Competition

Good morning HouseGuests,

Liam has chosen to walk from the game. Therefore, the eviction has been canceled. Jacob, you are safe.

Because this is the first week of the game, we will not be penalizing those who do not complete the Diary Room questions for Week 1, so all 15 of you are eligible to compete in tonight's HOH competition. Still, we would like to have you respond to these questions every week and will be enforcing this penalty in all future weeks.

Best of luck to all of you tonight! This should be a fun endurance competition, but keep in mind that there will also be opportunities to win a secret power or participate in a game-changing twist. I will be posting rules 5-10 minutes early so everyone can ask questions and be clear on how the competition works, but it will not start until 7.

Voting will be open until 9PM Eastern tomorrow. If you do not submit in time, you will receive a strike and two penalty nominations.

Also, two quick announcements:
1. We will no longer be giving out strikes for live events, because we understand that busy schedules can't always accommodate live events. Strikes will only be given out for failing to make nominations, participate in 24-hour competitions, or vote to evict (when we revert back to traditional Big Brother later in the season).
2. From now on, please send votes and challenge submissions to the person hosting the challenge via PM, not in your Diary Room. It just makes it simpler for all of us. Thank you!

i have won the power of veto which means i can veto a nominee!!

shockingly, i am deciding to veto MYSELF because being nominated twice in a row isn't really a fun feeling.

now casey must nominate someone else i think??? so we'll wait for that to happen, gl!

Since Jacob has decided to use the Power of Veto to save one of the nominee's, as outgoing HoH I must name a replacement. Choosing this replacement wasn't easy. But after much thought (and a good night's rest) I have decided to nominate Taylor in Jacob's place. Taylor, I want you to know this is nothing personal, it is just what I feel is the best move. You didn't send nominee votes in, and while I know your reason behind that is solid, this is why your name stuck out to me as the person to nominate. I wish Brendan, Taylor, Red, and Jay good luck in the upcoming Eviction Comp.

This isn't unheard of. As Casey puts it, it isn't personal, but you're damn right it's the best move.

I recall in BB7 when I took your girlfriend out of Limbo and sent Taylor in her place, and he ended up not surviving. It was smart because I sent him knowing he'd have a better chance of beating AJ than Hannah did, but also knowing if he lost, that'd be a former winner and big threat out of the game, also knowing Hannah would be thrown out of the game for inactivity anyway...which she was. I took out two birds with one stone.

But sure, stir the pot because he didn't put up one of my allies and someone you don't particularly like.

Oh don't try to cause a big argument Jake, I'm just pointing out it's silly and dishonest reasoning. You are a man of honesty Jake so you should point it out too.

But if I were stirring the pot instead of just calmly acknowledging something going on, then I'd be once again taking from your schematic of how to play the game. You thrive on chaos.
