HOH #1: Buzzword
Hello HouseGuests, and welcome to your first Head of Household competition of the season. Now as you know, the Head of Household's powers are much more limited this season, but if you win, you will be immune for the week and be able to choose one of the three HOH powers before the HouseGuests make their nominations.
This competition is called Buzzword and it will test the alliances that you and your fellow HouseGuests have made thus far. Right now, I will begin sending each HouseGuest a private message containing a single word. This word is your personal 'Buzzword'. Your goal in the next 24 hours is to figure out as many of your fellow competitors' 'Buzzwords' as possible, through any means possible, be it coercing, bribery, or bargaining. The HouseGuest who correctly matches the most players to their 'Buzzword' will become the new HOH.
The actual Buzzwords for each HouseGuest will never be revealed, so you will never know if you were lied to or told the truth.
Your answers are due on Tuesday, May 10, at 6PM Eastern time. Once you turn your answer in, you can't add or change anything to your answers. In the case of a tie, whoever sent their response in first will win.
And, to make things a little more interesting, here is a list of 23 words to help you out. 16 of these words are your 16 Buzzwords. The other 7? Just decoys.

Hope the competition is going well for you all!
Due to not making an introduction post before the game began per the rules, Jacob is ineligible to win HOH. He still has a Buzzword though. Also, although we put the '3 Strikes' rule in play today, we won't penalize you if you don't compete in this competition (since it's the first competition).
Make sure to start thinking about what power you will choose if you win this competition! You will only have 30 minutes to make this choice and if you don't get it in in time, you do not get a power for the week.

HOH #1 Results:
In third place, with 10 correct words...
Casey.
In second place, with 11 correct words...
Trent.
In first place, with 12 correct words...
There was a tie. Jake, Brad, both of you got 12 correct words. So it all comes down to the tiebreaker of who sent in his response first.
By a margin of about 2 hours...
JAKE! Congratulations, you are the first Head of Household of the season. You have until 6:35 Eastern to make your decision of which power you would like to use. Until then, hang tight, everyone.

Hello House guests, welcome to Veto Competition #1 – Counting on the Veto. The rules of this competition are simple: solve the seven math equations below by replacing the clues with the correct number. The first house guest to private message me the seven correct answers wins the Power of Veto. Just as a reminder the six people participating in this competition are Jake, Jacob, Brendan, Isaac, Crystal and Amanda. A few notes:
I only need the answers to each of the equations. I don’t need to see the math. Each answer is a positive whole number.
Read and research each clue very carefully. You don’t want to get tripped up because of a simple misreading. Think things out.
Solve each equation as read. DO NOT USE ANY FANCY ORDER OF OPERATIONS!
If we have talked by private message already, please send me your answers in a brand new message for clarity’s sake.
If you are not participating in this veto competition, please be respectful and do not help the contestants who are playing.
I will respond to each message as soon as I can and in the order I receive them. If all of the answers are not correct, I will send it back and tell you the number of answers you have correct but not which questions. The winner is the first person to answer all seven correctly not whoever gets the most the fastest.
Good Luck!

Spain has had many government forms. The Kingdom of Spain refers to the time since Spain's monarch was restored to power. Hint for everyone Wikipedia will help.

Just another caveat in Question 5 do not include Taiwan. Also, I need to know how old Mrs. Dalloway the character is not the book itself.
