My favorite movie is 50 Shades of Just Kidding lol. Favorite movie is One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest. Silence of the Lambs is a very close second though. As for kids' movie, I kinda have to give it to Finding Nemo. Even after seeing it dozens of times, it just doesn't get old for me =)

Oh, I forgot favorite kids movie. Aladdin hands down is my favorite. The Lion King is a close second though. Just something about Aladdin I enjoy and I love watching it every time I watch it.

Much like Casey, I tend to have a difficult time narrowing down and picking one movie as my favorite. I can easily pick Pirates of the Caribbean as my favorite Disney/kids movie, but for older.........I guess right now it'd have to be Pulp Fiction.

I'm with Adam and Casey in that it usually depends on when you ask me. Love Actually is usually my go to just because it's fun, has a good ensemble and I usually watch it at least once a year. As for some other favourites, Classic: Casablanca, 2015: Room, 2016 so far: Zootopia.

My favorite movie of all time, I think, is now Captain America: Civil War. No other time has a movie made me so happy and kept me that interested than this one. However, VERY close second, which was my favorite movie for years before this one, was Goodfellas.

Thanks for sharing everyone favorite movie growing up was probably 101 Dalmatians or the lion king. I'm a Disney girl. My other favorite movie is probably Grease. It's silly I know, but I love it and could watch it every day. In unrelated news my messages says I have one unread however I do not see an unread message. Is this a common issue on this site or am I crazy and missing a new message somewhere hah thanks for any advise I'm sometimes technologically challenged.

I love Grease too! I normally hate musicals but I absolutely love Grease (and Grease Live!) and Rocky Horror Picture Show.

HOUSEGUESTS! CHECK OUT THE FRONT DOOR! I'VE LEFT YOU ALL A PRESENT FOR MAKING IT THIS FAR IN THE GAME!

(Derek is going crazy from all of the Bar Studying he's been doing. So, he leaves the sanctuary of the former Limbo Room and knocks on the front door).
Hey, everyone! While we're waiting for the HOH to conclude and because I need a break from studying, I thought we could head to the bedrooms, relax, have some good food and drinks, and talk Big Brother and Survivor (whichever one you're a fan of).
I've always wanted to get people's opinions on both shows and see what people thought about players. While we often talk about the great players of Survivor and Big Brother, sometimes we leave out the Bad Decisions that people make in the games that lead to their elimination or eviction.
SO I POSE THIS QUESTION: For all Big Brother and Survivor fans, I want to hear your opinion. Other than someone not using the Veto on themselves or Giving Away Immunity, like Marcellas on BB3 or Erik from Fans v. Favorites, what do you guys personally think are some of the bad strategy decisions players have made in either of those games that ended up costing them the game?
I'll give two examples, myself. I don't necessarily deem them the worst, but I can think of examples.
BIG BROTHER 6: When Jennifer nominated Kaysar instead of James for eviction.
Thinking about individual players, I think this was a poor decision for Jennifer. See, Jennifer wasn't really a player that had a target on her back. She was in the Friendship Alliance and, of course, in Season 6, it was the Friendship Alliance vs. the Sovereign Six Alliance pretty much the whole game. At this point in the game, the Sovereign Six Alliance had turned on James and Sarah, as this season was the pairs season, and became an alliance of four, with James in the middle of the house. Kaysar had just come back into the house because America voted him back in. Granted, Kaysar may have made a mistake by taking his finger off of the button in the HOH Competition, and giving HOH to Jennifer, so that's a mistake on Kaysar's part. But, to me, Jennifer made the bigger mistake when she went against the House Plan to backdoor James. That week, everyone planned to get rid of James, since he kept winning the Veto Competitions, and was deemed a threat. At that point, Janelle and Rachel had been put up as pawns. But, Jennifer started having second thoughts about her decision, as James was a wildcard whereas Kaysar's allegiance was clearly to the Sovereign Six Alliance. After talking with members of her alliance, and getting a mixed reception, she nominated Kaysar, and he was voted out. The very next round, the Sovereign Six took back control when Janelle won HOH, and the Sovereign Six Alliance got revenge by voting out Jennifer. To me, Jennifer went from being someone that could have made it a lot farther in the game, but she put a target on her back by putting up Kaysar. I think the biggest issue here was the amount of deception: the House had wanted to backdoor James and Jennifer went against that. To me, this made her the clear target, as the Sovereign Six Alliance was set on revenge. I understand that Jennifer wanted to make a move, and granted she did, but I think it was done at the wrong time and in the wrong way. I think if the Friendship Alliance would have made it clear they weren't going to backdoor James, Jennifer probably wouldn't have been targeted that next week even if Kaysar had gone home. The Sovereign Six probably would have went after someone more of a threat, like Maggie. Many may have different opinions, and a lot of these results could have gone a different way. But, I think Jennifer brought too much attention to herself too soon when she decided to nominate Kaysar instead of James, making her Public Enemy Number 1 in the Sovereign Six Alliance's eyes.
SURVIVOR 3 AFRICA: WHEN BRANDON SWITCHED ALLIANCES AND VOTED OUT KELLY.
In Survivor Africa, there had been a tribal switch two Tribal Councils before the merge. As a result, the Boran tribe went into the merge with 6 original members and the Samburu Tribe went in with 4 original members. The Samburu tribe had already been fractured by age, as the younger tribe members banded together and voted out the older members. But, when the merge happened, Lex ended up taking the lead and voted out his former tribe member, Clarence, as he was a physical threat for the individual Immunity Challenges. After that Tribal Council, Lex got two votes. One was from Clarence, and the other from Theresa (but, Lex didn't know the identity of the second vote). Lex went on a witch hunt trying to figure out the identity of the second person that voted for him. He mistakenly target his ally, Kelly. Kelly realized that she could no longer trust Lex and organized the original Samburu members together to get rid of Lex. Kim, Frank, Theresa, and Brandon were the four. In this episode, everyone said they were willing to look past their differences on Samburu and join together to get rid of Lex. It would have been five votes and Lex would have left. But, Brandon switched his vote to Kelly after talking with Lex. Why Brandon did this is hard to understand. In the early seasons of Survivor, there was less strategy than what the game has become and the show featured more survival aspects at times than strategy. But, for Brandon, it never made sense to me why he voted with Lex. Granted, the two of them had spent some time on the Samburu tribe during the switch, but Brandon had a tighter relationship with Kim than he did with Lex. I think Brandon underestimated the effect that his vote would have on his game. I think he believed Lex could take him farther, which he wasn't wrong about, because Lex did try to keep Brandon around as a courtesy for him voting out Kelly. But, the rest of the Boran tribe did not trust Brandon and were upset with Lex's decision to keep him in the game. Brandon ended up being the man in the middle. The Samburu tribe didn't trust him because of the vote, and the Boran tribe members didn't trust him because of his prior relationships with the Samburu Alliance. I think it was a mistake for Brandon to turn on Kim and the Samburu tribe. It sealed his fate as he was the next one to go. Had he voted out Lex, I think he would have survived a lot longer in the game, maybe even going to the end.
Those are two examples. I have several more, but I want to hear what you guys think. You don't have to be as detailed as mine are, but I'm curious to know. What do you guys think are poor strategy decisions that players have made in Survivor and Big Brother?

There are so many to pick. I think another underrated error was Kucha voting out Kimmi instead of Jeff way back in Australia. Somehow, Tina found out Jeff had a vote cast against them and that could be used against him in a 5-5 tie at the merge, which happened. Kimmi likely would not have flipped at the merge. Jeff also crucially stepped down for peanut butter at the first merge immunity challenge allowing the strategic Tina to throw the comp to Keith who did have votes against him.

That's a good one, Joe. I think the Kucha Tribe had unfortunate circumstances later in the game. They dominated when Ogakor had to vote out three members in a row. But, as a tribe, they were dysfunctional. I think they would have been screwed either way, because I think Kimmi would have flipped over to Ogakor anyways since nobody on the Kucha tribe liked her, had she made the merge. Michael's evacuation really messed up the game for Kucha. I would have liked to see what would have happened if they would have went into the merge with Michael. I think it would have been a lot different.
Another Survivor one I can think of is Survivor 5: Thailand, when Shii Ann flipped over to the Chuay Gahn Tribe, and then found out afterwards that there was no merge. It was just two tribes living on one beach. Shii Ann acted way too quickly. A person should never make their intentions known to people until after Tribal Council. It's one thing to play both sides and then pick a side at Tribal Council. But, what some players make the huge mistake in doing is that they state their intentions too soon, and then they're targeted. Shii Ann is a classic example. Yes, she was definitely the bottom person on her tribe. Can I blame her for wanting to strategize? No. But, she did it way too soon, and too out in the open. She wanted to stick it in Sook Jai's face, but it ended up backfiring and costing her the game.
OTHER BAD BIG BROTHER DECISIONS:
BIG BROTHER 7: WHEN ERIKA NOMINATED DANIELLE Definitely a bad decision that I think cost her the game. Danielle and Erika had a close friendship and alliance. The fact that Erika was manipulated so much by Chilltown definitely baffled me. Granted, I love Mike Boogie and Will, they are legends. But, thinking abstractly, why in the world did Erika do this? I have no idea. It definitely caused Danielle to vote for Mike Boogie. (Maybe you guys have different thoughts on this one, since Erika made it to the Final Two. But, I think Erika was foolish to turn against her ally like this).
BIG BROTHER 8: WHEN MIKE ANTAGONIZED EVEL DICK Remember in Week 3 when Evel Dick was HOH? Kail, Mike, and Zach were in an alliance. Nick was part of it too, but Nick was kind of playing both sides of the house at this point. Kail and Jen were nominated, Evel Dick and Jen were the only ones left in the Veto Competition. It was one where you had to balance a glass on your head and if it fell off, you were eliminated. The houseguests could wear funny costumes to make people laugh. Mike kept antagonizing Evel Dick during the competition, Dick got so mad, he threw the glass off of his head and said that Mike was going up in Jen's place. Jen took herself off the block, Mike went up, and Mike ended up being voted out. BAD DECISION, MIKE!
