Hello everyone, and welcome to the State of Big Brother 9 Address. I have done a State of Address prior in Big Brother 7, but due to the fact that I am the Head of Household thanks to winning a competition that basically was a presidential election, it makes more sense than ever for me to do this. So, with that, lets get into it. The State of Big Brother 9: New LightIt is with great pleasure that I can once again address the players in this game as a designated leader and power player. For three straight years now, I have entered the Big Brother house and have been able to make people dislike me, love me, fear me, respect me, and everything in between. This season has been no different. As a lot of you that are left in the game agree with me, Brendan was the absolute worst possible thing this game ever had to deal with. He was awful, disrespectful, rude to many of you in private, and an all around garbage person to associate with. That was nothing new for Brendan, though. As I turned a corner in Big Brother 7, he did as well. We both changed, and he definitely changed for the worse. However, thanks to Trent, whom I am finally paying back for defeated Brendan that week by keeping immune this week, we no longer have to deal with him. So, if you want a reason for that decision I made, there it is. However, with that, I think it's time to address a very big elephant in the room. With great power, comes great responsibility. As the weeks go on, I knew it would need to happen: some of you are turning on me. I very much thought I had been on equal ground with Ryan and Taylor as the game began, but I come to realize that as time has went on, that has changed. Throughout the years, when I realized people were coming after me such as you two, I would get very angry. I would call you out on it, I would verbally bury you, and I'd put you on notice. However, I have changed from that, my game play has morphed since my breakout year in Big Brother 7, and because of that, I can sit here and say: I Understand. I get it. Taylor, Ryan, you have to come after me. You've got no choice, because you're very right: the minute I finish off Jacob, you're both next. I can't fault you for trying to strike before it's too late. It's the smart thing to do, but at the same time, your efforts are futile. I was allowed to become too powerful over time, and now, I really can dictate how this game goes. For years, I said that it was up to me how long people got to say in the game, but there was never a guarantee I could keep to that. This year, though, it's been nothing but the truth, and it's going to stay that way. The first two nominations were because of me. The second round, the four nominees, were because of me. The third round of nominations, Trent and Brendan, was because of me. Brendan's eviction? That was his own fault. However, I knew what I was doing. Last week, the nominations of Red and Jacob, and the subsequent eviction of Red by the hands of Taylor, was because of me. Last season, when Joe won, it was because before the game started, I knew I was going to let him win. It, of course, was up to Joe to push the jury into definitely voting for him, but I always planned on letting him win no matter what, and that is what happened. For two years in a row, I have won the final three HOH and chosen who to take to the end with me. I have never needed to truly rely on someone else, because since Big Brother 7, every single time I have ever been nominated for eviction and played POV, I have won. I've never had my security, my place in this game threatened...and it hasn't happened yet this season either. I respect all of my opponents this season, with the exception of an obvious trio. I don't appreciate being lied to, but the reason I don't get mad about it this season because I forever know when I'm being lied to, and it just makes me laugh. It makes me appreciate the game I'm playing even more. How advanced I have become. I am the greatest player in the history of this game, and this season is solidifying that. Now, allow me to stop talking about myself, as this is supposed to be the State of Big Brother 9, not the State of Jake Frato. Currently, we're facing a riff in the house. There are four of you who are definitely against me, those being Ryan, Taylor, Jacob, and Crystal. I pinpoint Ryan as the leader of you four, and I'm sure you may all agree. While Jacob is being incredibly rude to me, the other three of you are not, and I thank you for that and it gets my respect ten fold. That respect is what is making Jacob the biggest target to me out of all of you. Now, as I said before, I understand this resistance, as you don't have much of a choice. You could make an attempt to talk to me and get on my side, perhaps allow you to join me down the line, but I think you guys are intelligent enough to know that you wouldn't be able to convince me to do that. It doesn't matter anymore, my mind is made up in regards to allies and how I expect this game to finish. However, as I say that, I don't take you all lightly. I may have numbers, I may be the powerful monster that many of you see me as, but your wanting to shut me down and prove me wrong could somehow one day become more powerful than my final word. As I've said many times prior, you're only in this game as long as I allow it, and I do mean that...but one of you four could finally be the one to prevent me from being able to say that ever again. So, with that, we have one side of the house, anyone left in the middle if there is anyone at this point, and my side. Right now, I expect to see Taylor and Jacob nominated this week, with my hope being that Jacob is the one to be evicted. Taylor, you've proven to be THE guy to go to when you want someone evicted in this game, so I hope you continue to live up to that expectation. During double eviction, I will of course be here as will some of my allies, and I have a very good inkling that it will be the return of Traditional Big Brother...which could mean that I am not allowed to compete in the HOH Competition, as the outgoing HOH. Now, while they might be scary to me as I have been done in by Double Eviction in the past, I do not worry. I trust that whatever happens will be what I want, as everything up to this point has been. The expect noms for double eviction, with one of my people in power, are the winner of Taylor/Jacob and Ryan. At that point, votes will be placed, and I'll definitely be in full control of things there. From there...well...you'll need to see. Take this as a warning. It was obvious, but who I would be if I didn't tell you my plans to your face? Good luck trying to prevent it. Im not going to sit here and tell you that it's impossible, because it's not. However, I will sit here and tell you that this will be the hardest thing you've ever needed to do in a game like this. This has all been way too easy for me so far, and I want a challenge. I want to be severely screwed. I want one of you to evict me. So, knowing that, use it. Take me out. Because the State of Big Brother 9 is this: Jake's Rule is Law. Change that. I dare you. Thank you for reading, and good luck with the week.
