EVICTION COMPETITION #2: History Mystery
Hello, HouseGuests, and welcome to the second eviction competition. Tonight, one of the four of you will be leaving the game.
For this competition, I will post 15 questions at 8PM, each of which has a year as its answer. You must send me a PM with all 15 answers. If they are all correct, you have finished the challenge. If they are not all correct, I will tell you how many you have wrong and you must send in your answers again. If you are one year off, either one year too early or one year too late, I will still count your answer.
The last HouseGuest to finish will be evicted from the game.

Hi, guys. Just a reminder that the HOH will be posted at 7:00 pm, here, tonight! You have 24 hours to complete it. Time will only be a factor if there is a tie, which might happen!
And, I also wanted to let you guys know that, today, I graduated from law school. And, it's awesome to finish off the celebration by hosting my first HOH Competition for BB9! Good luck, tonight, and I'll post in an hour!

HOH COMPETITION #3: CHAIN REACTION
Good evening, houseguests, and welcome to tonight's HOH Competition called: Chain Reaction. Many of you that have played Big Brother in the past will know this competition. For others, if you've seen the game show on GSN, then you know how to play.
In this competition, I will give you eight different word chains. Each chain has 10 words in it. I will give you the first word and the last word in each chain. These words will not count towards you score. For the remaining eight words in the chain, I will give you the first letter for each word. You will need to figure out those eight words based on the words provided. I promise that every word has some kind of link to the previous word. However, you may not understand how it links together because they're not necessarily perfect chains. Some words are obvious links, others are not so apparent. But, your goal is to make a chain.
Here is an example:

The top word will link with the second word in the chain, and subsequent. The last word in the chain will be paired with the word above it. Using the words that I have provided, you will need to guess the words in the chain.
Now, if the above chain would have been an actual chain, here's what you would have seen, and what you will see in the competition.

You will get the first letter for each word in between, as well as the amount of letters that are in each word. But, you will get no more.
GOAL: Try to guess what words I have linked together. For each word that you guess correctly, you will get one point. The person that guesses the most words correctly will win HOH for the week. If there is a tie, the person that sent their answers in faster will win HOH. If somehow that is also a tie, I will have a short tie breaker chain ready.
NOTE: Understand that in this competition, I am looking for the word that I picked, not necessarily the best chain. Even if your words link, if they are not the words that I have chosen, they are wrong. There are no arguments about whether words connect better. You either guess the words I linked, or you're wrong!
Remember, your answers must be sent in by 7:00 p.m. tomorrow (Monday). You will Personal Message your answers to me. I will try to have all answers graded by 8:00 p.m. Please be sure to be here by 7:00 p.m. and stick around until the results are in, because the HOH will still have to choose their power. Good luck, houseguests!
PARTICIPATION NOTE: In order to make sure you do not get a strike, you must do one of two things. EITHER: (1) Submit your answers by participating in the challenge and making an attempt, or (2) Message me stating that you are not participating in the challenge. If you send me a message like this, you will not be penalized for not participating. But, I must either get this message or get guesses. If you fail to send me anything, you get a strike for not participating.

Competitions come in all shapes and sizes. One can never know what will be in store for you guys in the weeks to come.
And a word of advice to all the HouseGuests: during my short and unsuccessful playing career, I threw most competitions. For this specific competition in Season 7, I submitted about half of the answers (just so I had something to send in), but with just 8 of 25 possible points, I ended up winning HOH, a power which, frankly, I really didn't want to have, and (combined with my absence due to vacation) ended up contributing to my downfall. So this competition is always an interesting one, because this isn't one where you can count on the challenge beasts winning.
